Controller Job Opening in Manitowoc, Wisconsin - Rapidly growing $20 million private-equity sponsored manufacturing company located in Manitowoc is seeking an experienced Controller to become an integral member of its senior management team. The Controller will be responsible for all accounting, financial and administrative functions of the Company and will report to the company?s President. Specific responsibilities include:
Directing and/or performing the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting functions including full accountability for the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and balance sheet account analysis.
Preparing all financial statements, supporting schedules, analysis of financial results, and operational analytics.
Preparing all required lender reporting requirements.
Lead a more robust usage/upgrade of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Establish operational metrics and reporting to facilitate optimization of manufacturing operations and continuous improvement (lean).
Establishing and maintaining budgetary controls; recommending appropriate follow through.
Preparation of financial models to support management decision-making and process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have extensive background in a manufacturing organization and demonstrate the ability to develop quantifiable reporting metrics that support manufacturing management initiatives, enhance cash flow management and form the basis for effective management incentive programs. Experience implementing ERP is a strong plus.
Skills / Qualifications should include:
5 plus years of Controller experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating extensive cost accounting background.
CPA or CMA preferred.
BS in Accounting is mandatory.
MIS implementation experience a strong plus.
HR, benefits and insurance administrative oversight a plus.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills required.
