Business Administrator (Medical Office) Job Opening in Wheat Ridge, Colorado - Growing pediatric practice with two locations seeking a Business Administrator with extensive healthcare experience.
Ideal Business Administrator candidate:
Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extremely knowledgeable of HR practices and guidelines as well as payroll
Encompass a strong ability to extract and report data from EHR
Have extensive experience with financial analysis, budget planning, and reporting
Organized and efficient
Innovative, able to thrive with change, and possess excellent problem solving skills.
Business Administrator job responsibilities include:
Manages the daily operations while developing, monitoring, and analyzing budget and financial information.
Oversees HR and ensures effective of compensation, benefits, job descriptions, personnel policies and payroll practices.
Knowledge of billing practices for Medicaid and third party payers, overseeing billing practices to ensure efficient and cost effective processes are in place.
Participates in the selection, training and supervision of billing and reception staff including performance evaluation, merit increases and disciplinary actions.
Resolves administrative and operational problems including the maintenance of clinic property, computer systems and installed software applications.
Gathers and reports data for fiscal and statistical analysis, including interpreting data, analyzing information accurately, and taking effective, data-driven action.
Establishes and maintains positive and effective working relationships with employees, policy-making bodies, third-party payers, patients, and the public.
Organizes work and assigns duties accordingly to achieve goals and objectives.
Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Education:
Minimum degree required: Bachelor?s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (minimum of 7 years? experience at executive level in a hospital or clinic setting).
Preferred Master?s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or similar degree (minimum 5 years? experience as at executive level in a hospital or clinic setting)
Certifications:
CMPE certification strongly desired
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years Business Administrator experience in a healthcare setting is required.·
Strong knowledge of extracting data from EHR and reporting it in a meaningful format is required
Epic reporting experience strongly desired
