Linux Developer Job Opening in Cincinnati, Ohio - Description: By leading a small team of engineers, the Linux Developer leads the the complex software development projects. using Linux based compilers in the architecture, design and implementation of embedded systems.
Requirements:
-BS in Electrical Engineering- Designing and implementing embedded Linux image for embedded products (Yocto, Wind River etc.)
-5+yeas of programming with C/C++
-Testing software via automated methods, including but not limited to writing and running unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests, as well as manual methods
-3+years of experience in development of Qt applications (or similar framework)
-Experience in embedded Linux application software architecture development, design, implementation and testing
-Expertise in Linux applications on embedded devices
-Expertise in threading, message queues, IPC, and memory management
-Expertise in Remote Procedure Call and Data Serialization
-Expertise in version control and SCM knowledge such as Subversion, Git, Mercurial.
-Debugging embedded Linux systems-JSON messaging experience, preferred
-Interfacing embedded devices with Enterprise or Cloud based systems, preferred : ASM, Java, Objective-C, Ruby, Javascript, HTML, Python
-Networking protocols: TCP, UDP, HTTP
-Security and encryption protocols such as SSL, TLS, SSH, PKI, AES
