Floor Tech Job Description:
Our goal is to provide a superior level of cleaning quality in an assigned area to maintain a clean working environment.
Report to the Environmental Services Director for work scheduling
In assigned areas, perform daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures in accordance with HHS training videos.
Record work completed on Area Assignment Checklist.
Respond to Housekeeping pages.
Perform floor stripping and extraction projects.
Perform other tasks as assigned by department Director. Able to lift 0 - 40lb. frequently
Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (25 ? 100 lb.) frequently
Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
Capable of pushing and pulling furniture and equipment (25 ? 100 lb.) frequently
Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, VIREX, etc.)
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even other hours as needed per assigned area.
Must have communication skills in English
