We at Brava Wine Distributors, a boutique wine distributor specializing in Italian wines, seek sales representatives to cover large territories in Colorado as we expand our business.
Brava Wine Distributors is proud to represent our small and distinct list of Italian wine producers who craft their wine with extraordinary skill and passion and who produce outstanding wines that respect tradition and terroir yet express unique identity. We are expanding our list of winemakers slowly and thoughtfully with the focus on gradually adding skilled producers who make quality wines that complement - but do not compete with - our other products. We aim to keep our portfolio small so that we can maintain close relationships with each and every one of our producers and represent their wines with our most personal and dedicated attention. We work diligently to keep our costs low so that we are able to introduce these fine wines into the market at competitive prices.
We are a small, woman-owned company that enjoys close relationships with the wine producers we represent and with the customers we serve. We are active in our community and frequently participate in events, tastings, and wine dinners. I founded this company from the ground up and wish to always be hands on at every level where I work closely with my valued team. We are small and lean and personal, and that?s how we wish to remain, even as we grow.
We currently seek passionate, talented wine sales representative to join us as we grow our company by building new accounts, servicing existing accounts, and introducing our wines deeper and wider into the Colorado markets. We are looking for individuals who are resourceful, organized and self-motivated, who possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, who are educated in wine, and who are dedicated to always learning more about the fascinating world of wine.
Compensation varies with experience. Generally we offer a commission-based structure with incentives for building new accounts. We also offer an automobile expense offset, as well as opportunities for formal continuing education, ongoing training and tastings with management and staff, and overseas travel incentives.
This position is predominantly daytime hours M-F, with occasional weekend and/or evening commitments.
Qualifications:
Passionate about wine. It all starts here!!!
Formal wine education and/or sommelier certification preferred.
Sales experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, organized, resourceful.
Dedicated to always learning more about the fascinating world of wine
Working knowledge of computers. We are willing to train on our specific software applications.
Valid driver?s license with no alcohol-related infractions.
Access to a reliable automobile.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Minimum 21 year of age.
