Seeking IT Technical Writer with strong technical writing skills. Candidate must be able to work independently, communicate effectively both written and verbal, and be flexible and adaptable to rapid changes in scope and schedules. Work experience must demonstrate ability to effectively interview technical subject-matter experts and to work individually and with teams. This position reports to the Manager of Critical Operations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Plan, write, publish and maintain incident response documentation, including run books for software and hardware incidents * Organize online documentation in a logical and easy-to-use data repository * Assimilate complex ideas and detailed information into easy-to-understand written, spoken and visual communications * Analyze developments in specific field to determine need for revisions in previously published materials and development of new material * Validate documentation via live or test systems where available and applicable The successful candidate will have the following: * Good working knowledge and understanding of software development technologies * Great communication, collaboration, and flexibility to work with internal groups and external * Be a self-starting, motivated, hardworking, and flexible member of a team * Possess excellent written and verbal communications and presentation * Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) * Systems Analysis experience a plus. * Experience with Confluence Wiki a plus.
