Territory Sales Representative for Long Term Care Facilities Job Opening in Avon, Connecticut - GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Territory Sales Representative will be the lead point of contact of Long Term Care Facilities in Connecticut, South Jersey and Philadelphia. Introduce the company?s service to the facilities and develop strong relationships with them by supporting their ongoing needs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute sales strategy
Initiate contact with existing and potential customers
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with Long Term Care Director or Administrator
Offer the company?s services to Long Term Care facilities
Support ongoing needs of existing clients
Negotiate contracts and agreements
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with Office Employees regarding facility concerns
Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Business or any related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 year sales experience preferably in a health care industry
Other:
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Effective team player. Can work and relate well with co-employees, patients and customers.
Must have the behavioral sensitivity, maturity, diplomacy and tact in addressing complex situations and handling irate customers
Strong ethics and high level of personal and professional integrity
Basic familiarity on federal and state laws and requirements relating to healthcare management an advantage
Residence within close proximity of the territory

Highly Effective Communication Skills to establish and maintain relationships with Long Term Care Facilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to drive himself/herself to and from facilities
Standing and Walking around the facilities for approximately 2 hours a day
