Software Engineer Job Opening in Wilmington, Massachusetts - Position Overview
The Software Engineer will help advance OnBoard Security?s Aerolink® security library and related software for connected-vehicle applications. Deployment in both the U.S. and Europe is scheduled over the next few years. Applicants should have in-depth knowledge and experience in designing, coding, unit-testing, and debugging robust software in C++. OnBoard Security is a subsidiary of Security Innovation.
Responsibilities
Work with team to define software architecture/design
Design, code, and unit test new functionality based on requirements specifications
Port code to embedded operating systems on a variety of
Work with QA to resolve issues
Refactor code to improve performance, size, modularity, usability, maintenance
Integrate customers? hardware modules
Support interoperability testing with other vendors Support customers? integration of the products
Required Qualifications :
BS or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
Writing C ++ and C production code
Experience with object-oriented design/programming for production code
Designing and writing unit tests
Linux experience, including debugging
Multithreading experience
Experience with creating and using make files
system experience
Ability to work with QA reproducing and resolving issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to communicate promptly and clearly with customers
Ability to work cooperatively and efficiently with customers to resolve problems
Ability to comment code well, and document design
Attention to detail
