Senior .Net Developer Job Opening in Arlington, Virginia - GCubed Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer who can support a Department of Defense client in Arlington, VA. The individual will work on a team supporting multiple DoD information systems and will be hands on with various technologies and tools.
Responsibilities:
Effectively work with a team of developers, testers, business analysts and managers on a daily basis
Be an integral part of the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through delivery
Translate software requirements into workable web based applications, including writing specifications and designs, building, testing, implementing and supporting applications using and other programming languages and development tools
Review existing systems and assist in making improvements with an emphasis on increasing user satisfaction, efficiency, and scalability while reducing code complexity
Troubleshoot defects in existing systems and provide solutions quickly
Implement software enhancements and add new functionality based on Government-directed requirements
Ensuring software solutions align with organizational programming standards and industry best practices (e.g. 508 compliance, security)
Qualifications:
Experience designing, developing, and delivering elegant software solutions
Comprehensive knowledge of DoD software security requirements (i.e. vulnerability mitigation, STIGS, etc.)
Strong grasp of the Framework
Strong grasp of the # programming language
Strong grasp of SQL Server and relational database design
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
Must have a keen attention to detail and have a strong desire to contribute to quality efforts and ensure quality meets client expectations
Excellent problem solving and resolution skills
Good organization and time management skills
Excellent communication skills and professionalism

Clearance : Must currently possess a DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
