As a business development representative, you will help drive growth and shape the future of our total service solution.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining current customer account base as well as developing new sales.
Establish and maintain a trusted partner relationship with clients and ability to contribute at all decision-making levels.
Listen to current/potential client?s needs and be able to offer our marketing service solutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments and regulations that effect target markets.
Ability to acquire new accounts, close leads/finalize opportunities.
Be able to maintain and generate new relationships to. schedule appointments, review products, and create opportunities.
Develop and execute product demonstrations to clients (both online and onsite).
Generate leads by making cold calls, scheduling product demos, and online meetings.
Create and articulate solutions capabilities to small and large groups of individuals.
Makes personal sales calls to potential customer on a regular basis.
Establishes and maintains clientele relationships.
Introduces and demonstrates new products to assigned accounts.
Reports competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management.
Maintains ethical, cooperative manufacturer relationships consistent with company image and company/branch goals in the marketplace.
Cooperates with qualified suppliers to secure mutual business through conferences.
Executes sales performance efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of the company.
Completes outside sales call and daily reports on a timely basis in accordance with company procedures.
Provide customer needs for current literature, catalogs, product pricing, etc.
Routinely communicates to supervisors to improve business quality and sales solutions.
Performs other duties as instructed or required to successfully complete the
Qualifications & Skills
Proven proficiency in the use of a personal computer accompanied by a strong aptitude for software applications.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations and internal/external communications.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time at computer.
Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
Strong research & development skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
MS Office & PDF proficient: Outlook, Power Point, Microsoft Word and Excel, PDF reader/Acrobat.
Multitasking, time-management, and intermediate marketing skills a must.
Customer service oriented.
Ability to be self - efficient and motivated to exceed expectations of the company.
Ability to handle customer inquiries and escalations professionally.
Able to work from home, in a self-directed environment.
Energetic and motivated personality.
