Billings Construction Supply is an established, growing company and is seeking a motivated person for an outside sales position. This is a full-time opportunity available immediately.
Billings Construction Supply is a second generation construction and manufacturing supply company focusing on a variety of construction and industrial related products and services including Portable Toilets, Concrete Forms, Custom Sign Shop, Traffic Control & Sign Installation, Small Engine Repair Shop and a Sales Team dedicated to almost everything related to the construction industry. We service South Central Montana and Northern Wyoming.
Responsibilities:
Identify new leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business via cold calling, construction site visits, and facility visits.
Develop and implement sales plans with manager.
Maintain and grow existing customer sales by executing sales plans.
Oversee sales transactions including order/quote entry.
Organize daily schedule and sales calls efficiently.
Regularly meet with manager to review sales activities, progress on goals, and efficiencies.
Remain up-to-date on products, industry, and technical knowledge in the target markets.
Compile and share market and competitor information with appropriate person(s) in the company.
Customer deliveries when required.
Requirements:
Experience in outside sales to one or more of our target markets.
Able and willing to drive company truck in all our target markets.
Strong computer and navigation skills are required.
Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must present and communicate professionally.
Must be organized, goal orientated, and have a sense of urgency.
Responsible and reliable self-starter with an ability to perform with little direction or supervision when required.
Satisfactory driving record.
Must pass drug test
Experience working with Mines a plus.
