Software Developer/Architect Job Opening in Littleton, Massachusetts - mZeal is looking for a talented Software Architect with Cyber-Security skills to join our growing, collaborative team. You will be a key architect to project design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of mZeal?s advanced analytics cyber-security products. You?ll develop the highest quality applications, using your front-end and back end development skills. We are looking for someone with at least 8 years of design and development experience, a passion for solving hard problems, experience in cybersecurity and the enthusiasm to push us forward. Knowledge of big data and its presentation is a big plus.
The devil is in the details, and that's where you'll need to shine in order to be a great fit. That means you need to not only be highly proficient, but also have great attention to detail in ensuring that your code is as close to perfect the first time around. Everyone makes mistakes, but we need someone who can check their own work and doesn't cut corners. You'll be sharing responsibility with our lead designers and developers to tackle some of the hardest problems in the cybersecurity market space.
We need someone who is passionate about learning new things and doesn't mind throwing out what they used to know on a regular basis. We move fast, and always push to be on the bleeding edge of what technology allows, while ensuring the continuing success of our customers.
Required Skills & Experience:
Architect, design, develop, test and document software applications to meet customer requirements
At least Five (8) years of experience in full-stack SaaS application development
Java, Python, JavaScript, CSS , HTML 5, JQuery, Bootstrap
AJAX with JSON
RESTful Web services
Familiar with object-oriented programming techniques and Agile development environment.
Experience in developing many different types of visualizations, including histogram analysis, time-series analysis methods.
Candidate should have an overall awareness of the performance and scalability of the screens created.
Sub-version and/or GIT experience.
Strong learning, analytical and trouble shooting skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desirable Skills:
Experience working with large, multi-dimensional data sets is required. Familiarity with Big data/databases and ElasticSearch.
Experience working with Hadoop Cluster is desirable.
Desire to work closely with customers to build exceptional products.
