DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Manufacturing Engineering/Plant Manager
DESCRIPTION :
The Production Manager will oversee all Production Operations of all injection molding and assembly/decorating manufacturing areas. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving the plant-wide quality system that focuses on customer satisfaction, defect prevention, and continuous improvement utilizing six sigma techniques.
Duties:
Managing, and directing Mold Set-Up, Processing, and Material Handling
You will ensure that raw material is handled and processed correctly, that finished goods are properly packaged and labeled, and that employees are properly trained and have safe working conditions.
You will oversee PQ runs, auditing of production setups for adherence to the documented process, and identifying automation, scrap reduction, and productivity improvement opportunities
This is a ?Hands On? position requiring 80% plus of the work requirements being executed in the manufacturing departments.
Requirements:
5 - 10 years? experience in processing engineering grade materials (resins, polyesters, nylons).
Proficient w/ Fanuc, Engel, Whitmann, & Yushin Robots.
Proficient w/ Vision Systems.
Process control and SPC.
RJG Pressure Transducer Experience.
RJG Level I & II Certification preferred.
