Finance Officer Job Opening in Watertown, South dakota - Position Title: Finance Officer
Statement of Duties
Position is responsible for the management and administration of the City?s Finance Office. Responsibilities include Finance Office management, citywide organizational planning, human resource management, financial and capital management, risk management, records management, election administration, and supervision of departmental staff.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor?s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field and seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible professional management experience in local government administration, finance or accounting including a minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory capacity;
CPA and CPFO certification preferred;
A candidate for this position is required to have a valid driver?s license;
Must establish residency within 35 miles of the Watertown Regional Airport terminal within six months of hire date.
