Financial Analyst Job Opening in monterey, California - Financial Analyst Financial Analyst fill in for Great company in Scotts Valley! $20 per hour Full Time, 2 weeks and maybe more Principal Responsibilities: ■Prepare, analyze, and distribute Daily Sales reports ■Provide actual monthly and YTD financial results vs. forecast, budget, and LY for sales and margin with insight into significant variances ■Assist with month-end close: includes ASP Comparison reports, Negative Margin Sales, Low Margin Sales, and NGM Walks ■Interact with other support functions (such as the finance and accounting, operations, and IT teams) in a manner conducive to furthering the goals of the commercial finance team ■Provide requested finance support for sales team, and ■Perform financial analyses for the Commercial Finance Manager, as required Experience: ■Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on planning and financial analysis experience in a consumer products company ■Proficient knowledge of planning and financial analysis principles, practices and procedures ■Proficient in Microsoft suite of programs (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) ■Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required ■Big 4 experience is preferred ■SAP knowledge is preferred, and ■Hyperion, or similar systems knowledge is preferred Skills/Attributes: ■Strong analytical ability ■Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization ■Team player with a service mentality ■High personal integrity and professionalism ■Leadership -- takes initiatives and leads by example ■Results-oriented -- takes great pride in accountability ■Takes initiative, plans and prioritizes well ■Project management and attention to details ■Ability to multi-task and be flexible to adjust priorities based on business needs ■Ability to work cross-functionally ■Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills Call or e-mail resume to: monterey ca california Phone:
