Introduction
DCE Solar is a Privately-owned Engineering Services firm, focusing exclusively on the development of industry-leading (racking and mounting) solutions for the installation of commercial and utility scale solar projects. Our racking systems for solar projects have been successfully installed since 2009. We engineer, develop, design and manufacture new products that are highly efficient and custom installation solutions that enhance the overall adoption of solar energy. The Company has achieved a year over year growth factor of 140% and anticipate a similar outcome within the hyper-growth industry.
The summary for the position of Director of Sales will be to set and execute the sales strategy for the organization. Maximizing client acquisition, devising methods to increase sales in existing territories and propagating within new territories. To coach and mentor the sales staff to achieve new levels of performance. Only candidates that have a significant experience in the solar industry need apply.
Job Description
Develop the company?s sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
Include in sales plan targeted emerging markets and executables
Manage a broad territory of prospective and existing clients
Achieve the sales target developed while achieving the greatest margin.
Effectively increase the company?s client base
Effectively liaise with other company functions to derive the most effective result
Set individual sales targets and measurement techniques
Develop KPI?s for effective measurement and tracking
Sales Management skills
Required: Significant background within the solar industry and a robust client list
Professional representation of the company
Utilize Sandler Sales techniques ? (a plus)
Successfully sell and market the suite of company products.
Encompass a full understanding of the company products, services and warranties.
Able to execute a win ? win solution for both the company and clients.
Aware of the latest trends in marketing and sales, and use to the company?s benefit
Maintain accurate client information and analytics through the use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
Create an offering for the customer that creates a deeper partnership symbiosis
Effectively respond with company proposals to win client projects
Successful client travel to support client projects and establish deeper relationships
Attend exhibitions, shows and market functions
Manage, coach, motivate and council a sales team
