The position is a very "hands-on" role that includes troubleshooting, production support and upgrades. What you'll need -- Knowledge and Experience: ? Expertise in management of Linux RHEL 5/6 and Windows 2003 /2008 operating systems. ? Expertise in management of J2EE application servers and Apache web servers on both Linux and Windows is essential; ColdFusion server management experience a plus. ? Experience with ActiveMQ, Lucene, Solr, and other Apache projects are beneficial. ? Experience in network management and troubleshooting. ? Experience in setup and maintenance of monitoring platforms (SiteScope, Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix, and similar). ? Exposure to virtualization and cloud computing.
