Technical Support Rep Job Opening in san diego, California - Technical Support Rep Linear LLC is a pioneer in engineered radio frequency (RF) products and is a major supplier of wireless residential security systems, access control, intercoms, garage door operators, gate operators, short- and long-range radio remote controls, and medical/emergency reporting systems. We are currently seeking a Technical Support Representative to provide technical support for products to sales representatives, dealers and end-users, while upholding Brand standards for customer service and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: * Provides troubleshooting technical support to customers, field engineers and sales staff in a call center environment. * Support customers with product related design assistance and installation troubleshooting. * Return all calls and emails in a timely manner. Present the Technical Support Department in a friendly, upbeat and supportive manner. * Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems to Technical Services Manager. * Provide Dealers with product and installation updates via fax and email. * Route calls to proper Departments to satisfy customer needs (i.e. service, parts requests, etc.). * Act as the conduit to funnel Dealer and End-User suggestions and new product ideas to Product Development and Engineering. * Act as the �feedback� loop between Engineering and Customers in solving product problem issues. * May be involved in customer installation and training programs as needed. Requires: * A.A. degree or formal electronics training * Strong customer service skills * Ability to troubleshoot basic electronic devices * Excellent reasoning, problem solving and communication skills required. * Must be able to mentally visualize installations and troubleshoot appropriately.
