Job Description::
We are looking for a full stack web developer to join our Reference Data group within the Global Markets Technology division. The group is responsible for delivery of a wide range of technology solutions which support the reference data requirements for Global Markets business.
This is an exciting role focused on application development using some of the market leading technologies such as Angular, React, on the frontend and Scala, Akka, RDF, Sparql, Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Hive on the backend. We use Agile methodology for all the development.
This is a development-centric role and you will be expected to deliver technical solutions by managing all phases of software development life cycle. You must be able to analyze business or technical requirements and develop technology solutions accordingly. You must be a good team player with strong communication skills.
We are looking for an individual who is driven by passion for technology and wants to build enterprise applications which solve complex problems.
You must be a self starter and willing to work with new technologies.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong UI development skills with a focus on writing memory efficient and performant code
- (frontend)
- Java/Scala (backend)
- Strong understanding of software build/ release management (with at least one build tool e.g. sbt)
- Familiarity with Angular, React, a plus
- Familiarity with Web Sockets a plus
- Familiarity with development patterns
Technical Skills Desired

Salary: $120,000.00 to $125,000.00 /year
