Galleria Stone & Tile of Ipswich MA is looking for a Tile sales and Design consultant.
The right candidate should be highly creative , with an eye for design detail, personable and have the ability to accurately define customer needs. Should be self-motivated and focused on successfully completing projects and tasks in a timely manner. Organization and attention to detail are essential. The primary responsibility of the Design and Sales Consultant (DSC) is to proficiently guide customers in their selection of Tile, Stone, Cabinetry and accessories. Then by demonstrating excellent listening skills, product knowledge and follow-up, the DSC will construct, prepare and make ready for estimation, all information, accurately in a timely manner.
Essential Responsibilities :
Under direction of the Showroom Manager:
1. To lead customers in choices, finishes, styles, textures and materials, and quality options
2. To monitor supply levels of stone and tile samples and accessories, and restock label displays
3. To act as an ambassador for the Company in hosting, and informing, customers
4. To accurately construct, design and estimate tile, stone, and cabinetry selections
5. To accurately and efficiently utilize technology and selling tools, leading to furthering sales
6. To accurately build, administer, process and follow-up on all orders
7. To build and foster relationships with interior designers, personnel, contractors and customers
8. To seek and share product and customer information with Galleria personnel. and to show
continued commitment to developing job expertise
9. To collaborate with, support and assist sales team members to create efficiency's
10 To organize and maintain showroom neatness, cleanliness and integrity
11 To manage optimization of displays, vignettes and showroom staging
12 To follow company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and workplace ethics
13 To perform duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education : College degree, preferably in design and /or business management
Experience : At least 1 year of prior design / retail sales experience
Some level of enhanced responsibility prior to taking position
