Outside Parts Sales Job Opening in Spokane, Washington - Due to growth, Harlow's is looking for an Outside Parts Salesperson at the Spokane, WA location!
POSITION SUMMARY
The Outside Parts/Service Salesperson is responsible for calling on assigned customers within a specific territory to take orders as well as solicit new business for parts and service department. Delivers parts to those customers as needed. Calls on new prospective clients about 20% of the time (average of 8 hours per week) and serves as a Public Relations person.
In this role you will:
Sells parts and labor at a profit to clients in the following industries: School Bus, Commercial Bus, Class 4-8 trucks, Trailers
Take orders, deliver parts and arranges vehicles in the shop for service work.
Initiates phone conversations with clients to generate parts orders and schedule service appointments.
Pull orders and load parts/service vehicle for delivery.
Provide appropriate documentation to ensure part is ordered and delivered in timely fashion.
Communicates effectively with Parts and Service personnel to ensure proper delivery of customer ordered parts and scheduling and completion of customer vehicles.
Makes regular cold calls to build up client list.
Properly processes cores.
Return defective items and ensure proper credit.
Maintains assigned company vehicle in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and company policy.
Communicates with Parts Manager to keep them abreast of overall market conditions, customer complaints, competition and product suggestions.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: HS Diploma required. Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts or higher preferred
And
Experience: Three to five years in outside sales preferably in a parts or service environment
