POSITION TITLE: Account Executive, Outside Sales
REPORTS TO: Vice President, Sales & Marketing
POSITION SUMMARY:
Experienced Sales Representative with a proven track record selling event and meeting space. Must have hospitality, event planning and corporate contacts.
Objective
Leverage skill set and extensive network to build a meeting/event pipeline and close deals. Position ATLAS Workbase meeting space to create:
a reliable revenue stream through hotels, corporate administrative assistants and meeting planners; and
to establish beachheads within corporate accounts
Tactics
Identify top tier prospects, develop account plan for repeat business, develop and maintain relationships with decision makers
Create a database of prospects who regularly rent off site meeting space
Hotels with limited meeting space
Event planners
Corporate customers with limited office space and/or off site needs
Track all activity through CRM tool
Work with marketing to refine pricing strategy as needed, develop messaging, promotions and other tools required for each stage of the sales cycle.
Work with management to create a meeting specific forecast
Education & Experience
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years of sales experience in startups and/or entrepreneurial environments
Track record of effective cold calling and outbound emailing, prospecting, and developing and closing sales
General knowledge of computer and software applications
Professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience accepting challenges, accepting full accountability, flexibility with scheduling and working independently with minimal supervision.
Other duties may be assigned as business needs arise.
