Regional Sales manager Job Opening in York, South carolina - Vision Metering is a technology company selling equipment and services to Electric & Gas Utilities. The company has been in business for 26 years and is a profitable company. There is an immediate need for a regional sales person to handle 14 states in various parts of the U.S. The Company's products are of a technical nature and require some degree of savvy on the salespersons part. Training is provided which normally takes about 3 months.
The selected candidate will have great sales skills, be willing to travel 17 to 19 weeks per year. Some of the Company's products and services are relatively simple while others are technical in nature, so concept processing is required to understand how things work.
Vision Metering offers 2 weeks of paid vacation per year starting one year after employment, BCBS health insurance, all normal holidays off, 401K after one year and the opportunity to participate in the Employee Stock Option Program after one year. This is a family oriented Company and a relaxed environment which promotes productivity. The plant is located in York, SC which is about 45 minutes from Charlotte.
There is a base salary of $50,000 and 1% of commissions on sales in this territory. The selected candidate will be aggressive, articulate and capable of telling our story. Also, must be old enough to rent a car.
