Bookkeeper Job Opening in Dallas, Texas - Position Summary:
This position with JRJR Networks will be working with multiple brands including The Longaberger Company, Agel, Spice Jazz and Uppercase Living.
Creates financial transactions and develops financial reports from that information. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting journals or accounting software. Source documents may include invoices to customers, cash receipts and supplier invoices. Analyzes account data and reconciles accounts to ensure accuracy.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer reports.
Allocate and post financial transaction details to books.
Transfer data to general ledger.
Reconcile and balance accounts.
Issue financial statements (trial balance, income statements, balance sheets)
Collect and analyze account data and generate financial reports
Prepares / reviews journal entries, reconciliations, and assists with audits of related accounts.
Assist with budget preparation.
Assist accountants as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate?s degree in accounting or business administration.
Working knowledge of Sage accounting software.
Two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis.
Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, Internet and database applications.
Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of Company personnel.
