Sales Manager Job Opening in Newburyport, Massachusetts - The Position
MESCO is seeking an outstanding self-motivated, goal-oriented, clear-thinking individual to become Sales Manager to support the development of their U.S. efforts. The Sales Manager should have a strong desire to excel in a commission-driven sales position and must have a hunter?s mentality. You must be able to provide evidence of success and standing in your current / former roles.
Core Responsibilities
Expand MESCO?s consulting services amongst customers
Present MESCO?s portfolio to (potential) clients at events and tradeshows
Manage customer acquisition programs and sales pipeline
Collaborate with R&D and management to support MESCO's vision on an operational and strategic level with the responsibility to achieve sales goals
Support MESCO?s customers to define their needs, to develop viable solutions and to assist in determining and implementing organizational requirements for functionally safe products.
Qualification Requirements
The candidate must have a strong work ethic with excellent sales and business development skills and a convincing personality to motivate target customers. Honesty, integrity, discipline and focus are the main requirements for this assignment.
In addition, candidates must have the following experience/skills:
5+ years of experience in sales/business development roles, ideally in development services, electronic or related areas
Self-starter with strong communication and presentation skills, initiative and enthusiasm
Broad knowledge of industrial automation products and/or machine building and plant applications
Regular domestic travel and international travel is required
Education Requirements
Bachelor?s or higher degree in a technical discipline (electrical engineering, mechatronics, IT or similar).
