Sales Account Executive Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - Overall Purpose of the Position : The Sales Account Executive assists the Sales Account Manager, and is responsible for building a book of business within your specified region/territory and servicing those clients with effective strategic marketing ideas, outstanding customer service, and meticulous project management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Engage prospects from existing contact list with consultative, sales approach
Use consultative sales approach to evaluate target clients' goals and propose customized solutions
Earn full ownership of your accounts including project management, marketing, and creative after successful client close
Understand the needs, goals, and marketing messaging of your prospects through direct interaction with them
Implement strategies that achieve growth objectives of the company
Gain in-depth, practical knowledge of our marketing, services, pricing, and competitive edge
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales budgets
Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge of products and services
Provide timely and accurate reporting as required
Main point of contact for group bookings and private hires as well as ensure smooth delivery of the services
Strategic in approach while working with multiple influencers inside and outside the company
Drive business development within assigned region/markets - monitor and track opportunities
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Proven customer service skills, strong crisis management skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to make informed and analytical decisions while under pressure
Strong attention to detail and superior organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work within a flexible schedule
Sheer determination and drive to excel and thrive
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and driven by both financial and career opportunities
Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, as required
Willingness to travel to various meetings or client sites
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
