Licensed Practical Nurse Job Opening in Aurora, Nebraska - Memorial Community Health, Inc. in Aurora, NE is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in our Long Term Care Unit, Memorial Community Care. Evening Shifts Available. This individual provides, performs oversight, delegation and coordination of total nursing care with other health care providers to meet the holistic needs of the residents.
Job Duties:
Performs comprehensive nursing assessments
Conducts full body systems analysis
Reviews, discusses, and implements health care provider orders appropriately
Serves as a resident advocate
Evaluates resident progress toward desired outcomes
Promotes team concept through effective communication
Provides resident and family education as needed
Oversees care delivery and staffing needs/assignments on the nursing unit
Triages each emergency situation appropriately and involves others as necessary
Demonstrates knowledge of medications and treatments, policies/procedures, and equipment
Must be willing to work every other weekend
