Accounting Manager Job Opening in Salisbury, North carolina - The key responsibilities of our Accounting Manager include:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations for the revenue cycle for three (3) separate companies with six (6) direct reports in a self-managed team environment.
Manage our perpetual inventory system quantities and costing for eight (8) company-operated distribution centers and two (2) partner distribution centers with consigned inventory.
Oversight of 401k plan distributions, census, and regulatory compliance.
Payroll system journal entry accumulation and posting.
Manage month end closing of the revenue cycle, including inventory costing and trade accounts receivable ageing / reconciliation to the general ledger.
Sales tax reporting and compliance for our four (4) companies.
Oversight of banking activity.
Co-manage accounts payable processing.
Key requirements for candidates include experience and comfortableness with the following:
Perpetual inventory system with multiple distribution centers / companies.
Multiple companies and inter-company transactions.
Payroll regulations / processing / recording.
401(k) plans and regulatory compliance.
Managing a staff of 6 direct reports.
And
Above average leadership / communication skills in interacting with all levels throughout the organization.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years progressively responsible experience.
