Brokerage/Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Plymouth, Michigan - Whiteline Express, Ltd. is looking for an enthusiastic hard worker to fill an opening in our Brokerage Department. The Brokerage/Inside Sales Rep. is responsible for communicating with third party carriers to get brokered loads/freight delivered. This involves negotiating rates, scheduling and tracking shipments, and communicating with customers. The ideal candidate will be customer focused and work daily to meet our customer, shipper, and carrier needs.
Responsibilities Include:
Carrier recruiting
Dispatch of drivers, including loading procedures and requirements
Carrier relationship building
Rate negotiation
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
Strong analytical skills
Highly organized and detailed
Must be a team player
Ability to multi-task and prioritize is imperative
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
