Resident Assistant/CNA (1st Shift) Job Opening in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin - Artisan Senior Living and Memory Care is seeking caring and dependable individuals to join our team. Resident Assistants will utilize the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, and independence when caring for our residents. As a community of caregivers, we are here to engage and enrich the health and spirit of our residents. While prior experience and certifications are a plus, we are always willing to train the right person who has a passion for healthcare!
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide for the daily physical care of residents. Assist residents in getting up, toileting, showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene and assistance needs
Create an environment that enhances the well-being of residents
Facilitate and encourage participation in life enrichment programs
Review the assignment sheets and service plan for each resident?s care and ensure completion.
Note changes in a resident?s condition on a regular basis and inform management staff of changes
Dispense medications to residents
Maintain accurate records of the exact medications administered to each resident
Light housekeeping duties
Assisting resident and dining staff during meal times
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS:
Must enjoy working with older adults
Excellent attendance record
Experience working with persons with dementia preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and/or caregiving experience are a plus
CBRF certificates are a plus
