Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Opening in Solana Beach, California - Full time bookkeeper for busy real estate office and property management office in Solana a block from the beach! We have a great working environment and easy access to I5 - we're right up the street from Del Mar race track.
Candidate should be able to work independently with little supervision. Reliability is of paramount importance. Candidate should be detailed oriented and accurate, have 3+ years experience in Quickbooks, have excellent Excel skills, able to produce reports monthly for management. Candidate should be patient and able to communicate effectively with realtors. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check and have excellent references.
Duties include, but not limited to, make daily deposits, enter payroll information (payroll done by third party), accounts payable and receivable, balance several accounts monthly, reconcile accounts and credit card statements, produce 1099's in January, prepare files for accountant for taxes, and prepare for workers' compensation audits.
This position is full time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday. No overtime required, typically. Includes employer contribution to health insurance, paid time off, 2 weeks vacation per year.
