The Controller heads the accounting department and will guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures; will protect assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls. This position monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits, providing information for external audits and through the collection and analysis of data. The Controller is responsible for the company?s financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and ensures timely reporting and compliance with federal, state and local requirements. The Controller is a member of the Executive Team and works closely with the CEO and Board President on matters of financial strategy, financial performance, financial forecasting and trending.
