FUNCTION:
Maintain accurate account receivable records.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ensure daily transactions (charges and payments) for the property are accounted for and documented in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure charges and payments are posted and reconciled on a daily basis.
Ensure accuracy in guest statements prior to mailing them to the guest.
Ensure assigned audits are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor master account accuracy.
Complete and process daily deposits.
Maintain and complete the city ledger account; ensuring receivables are accurately processed.
Contact guests regarding overdue accounts, identify partial payments and prepare adjustments as required.
Track and review exception report within five days to ensure they have been addressed with appropriate departments and employees.
Understand and explain the paper and cash flow as well as the financial impact of each audit as required.
Ensure daily audited numbers correspond to system generated reports.
Report discrepancies from the internal control standard to the Senior Auditor or others as required.
Identify and report discrepancies in the reconciliation process.
Prepare daily and monthly journal entries.
File daily paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor overall levels of Accounts Receivable for communication with Management
Monitor collections and problem accounts for communication with Management and additional collection activity
Maintain confidentiality.
Supervise Accounts Receivable Clerks (2)
Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state and federal regulations.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.
Regular predictable attendance is required.
Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow employees and guests alike.
Immediately report unsafe conditions and employee or guest accidents to a supervisor or Security.
Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget at all times when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourage others to do the same.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates degree or above preferred.
LANGUAGE:
Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum one (1) year Accounts Receivable experience preferably in a casino environment. Minimum two (2) years Supervisory experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills, 10-key by touch, Microsoft Office.
