Medical Billing / Collections Specialist Job Opening in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Busy Medical Practice seeking candidates to fill a position within our Insurance Department. Daily duties include but are not limited to billing for multi-specialty outpatient services, follow up on receivables / medical collections, and various functions.
Individual will be responsible for arranging and following up on patient financial payment plans, auditing patient charts and patient accounts, posting receivables, and any projects assigned by management. Knowledge of Medicare, Commercial, Work Comp/Auto, and private insurance account billing and collections is preferred. Qualified candidates will have a team player attitude, positive personality, and able to provide superb customer service and professionalism. Previous experience with insurance benefits is ideal; all other training will be provided. Individual will work closely with medical staff and patients to coordinate financial arrangement per insurance benefits. Growth potential is available within the organization for the right candidate.
Positions are full-time Monday ? Friday and the business office hours are 8:00 am ? 6:00 pm; employees are assigned their 8 hour shift times.
