Software Engineer Job Opening in Acton, Massachusetts - Description Experienced embedded software engineer to work with a team of engineers develop software (Ada, C) to upgrade an existing product, including porting software to a new single-board computer and adding needed functionality. Responsibilities include design, code, test, integrate, update test cases (STD), adherence to software development plan (SDP). DoD Secret clearance required. Skills Required Low-level embedded, real-time software development (C, C++, Ada) Skills Preferred Ada experienced desired; on-the-job learning OK, Linux development environment. Experience Required Software development for real-time embedded systems, software development process (code, unit test, peer reviews, debugging, integration and test), Experience Preferred Experience with i86 multicore embedded software development, VxWorks, Linux development environment, experience with formal software development process for DoD products. Education Required Four year technical degree associated with software programming and development Education Preferred Additional Information candidates need an active Secret Clearance (Interim is OK) to start Potential contract to hire
