Director of Hyperbaric Facility Accreditation Job Opening in North Palm Beach, Florida - Position Responsibilities:
Development, implementation, and management of the UHMS Clinical Hyperbaric Facility Accreditation Program
Development of accreditation procedures and survey criteria
Revise as necessary * Advise the Accreditation Council (AC) on accreditation policies
Budgetary oversight
Preparation and management of survey documentation
Record retention
Data and software management
Data analysis * Manage logistical aspects of surveys
Schedule surveys
Coordinate survey team assignments
Communicate with facilities applying for accreditation * Surveyor recruitment, training, and on-going management
Course Director of the HFA How to Prepare for an Accreditation Survey? course
Establish learning objectives and course content
Coordinate adjunct faculty
Prepare course documentation
Participate as adjunct faculty as required * Serve as an advocate for national and international advancement of accreditation activities
Serve as Secretary of the UHMS Accreditation Council
Provide AC appropriate documents, reports, etc., necessary to determine accreditation status
Prepare AC documents, letters, etc.
Coordinate AC activities such as council meetings, etc. * Serves as liaison of the UHMS to the following organizations:
Joint Commission (JC)
Member of Health Care Association Forum * Safety/standards organizations (as required)
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME PVHO)
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
International Fire Marshal's Association (IFMA)
Association of Independent Architects (AIA) * Other accrediting bodies (as required)
Organizations that mandate hyperbaric facility accreditation
Such as Utah Medicaid and Mohawk Valley Physicians, Inc. * Manages compliance to ISO 9001-2015 certification standards
Performs other duties as directed by the Executive Director
Requirements
Bachelors degree or greater
Previous healthcare management experience with department level budgetary responsibility
Hyper or hypobaric technology experience preferred
Knowledge of FDA, ASME-PVHO standards
Knowledge of NFPA recommendations
Experience with accreditation programs
Experience with ISO
Computer literacy including programs such as MS Office programs, iOS platforms
This position reports to the UHMS Executive Director and ideally, is located in North Palm Beach, FL at the UHMS HQ.

Salary: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
