Patient Transporter Job Opening in Orange Park, Florida - The Sure Turn team member is responsible for the transportation of patients and patient related equipment within the facility contracted with HHS. The sure turn team member is also responsible for cleaning patient rooms once the patient has been discharged. The sure turn team member plays a very important role in setting high standards. These standards include cooperation, patience, communication, and willingness to work as a team with nursing, medical staff and all other hospital departments. The sure turn team member must be committed to continuing education required by the hospital and HHS to upgrade skill. Potential exposure to communicable diseases and safety hazards exist due to the nature of the hospital environment. To prevent injuries strict safety and infection control procedures must be followed at all expects that every team member will role model patient-centered care behaviors and be guided by HHS?s values and the principles of patient-centered care that are emphasized by the HHS Make a Difference Program.
