Sales Account Representative Job Opening in Valencia, California - We are looking for a passionate and trustworthy Territory Account Representative who will partner with our customers and ensure their long-term success. The Territory Account Representative role is to manage a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities; this is the role of a business hunter. This position will work remotely in their assigned territory; the ideal candidate must work well on their own, be trustworthy and understand the importance of meeting sales based quotas while working on their own in the field.
Job Purpose
Territory Account Representative responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customer, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Representatives will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and improve the entire customer experience. Our ideal candidate is able to identify customer needs and exceed client expectations.
Ultimately, a successful Account Representative is required to collaborate with our sales team to achieve sales quotas and grow our business.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customer account management.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Negotiate pricing in accordance with established guidelines, negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and key executives.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly & quarterly initiatives to internal management and externa stakeholders.
Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas.
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly & quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
Identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory and collaborate with sales team to ensure growth attainment.
Assist with high severity request or issue escalations as needed.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times with both internal staff and with potential and existing clients.
Other tasks assigned by management and deemed necessary to the operation of the position and/or work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Outside Sales Representative or other relevant experience.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization including the executive and C-level.
Solid experience with CRM software and MS office (particularly MS Excel & PowerPoint).
Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
BA/BS degree in Business or relevant field preferred but not Type: CommissionCar AllowanceThis position offers a base salary + commission.
