HIM Project Manager - Contract Job Opening in Lafayette, Louisiana - HIM PROJECT MANAGER (6-9 month contract, 40 hours/week)
LOCATION: Lafayette, Louisiana preferred. Plano, Texas is a secondary option.
TRAVEL: 25-50%. Contractor would be required to travel to hospital locations as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: RHIA or RHIT

We have an immediate need for an HIM Project Manager. This person will be responsible for the following:
Project manager to oversee record storage transition/purging
Assist in Developing/revising policies for record
Oversight and guidance to the hospitals during transition/purge
Review of current record storage inventory and indexing process
Coverage of HIM operations; including coding oversight
May assist with other HIM projects as requested
