Job Description for Field Registered Nurse ( RN ) Home Health:
$1500 Signing Bonus. Our home health care agency is rapidly expanding and we are hiring Field Registered Nurses (RN), Home Health effective immediately. We work with patients of all ages and backgrounds who require daily care in their homes. If you enjoy working one-on-one with patients outside of a clinical setting, and would enjoy some flexibility with your life and work balance, please submit your resume.
Duties and Responsibilities for Field Registered Nurse ( RN ) Home Health:
Assess patients? condition during every visit and chart your observations
Develops and initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication review
Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by the patient?s Physician
Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
Chart patient's conditions electronically
Identifies discharge planning needs as part of the care plan
Participates in on-call rotation once a month
Able to work Terrytown, Gretna, Marrero, Belle Chasse, Westwego and bordering areas O
Available to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Qualifications for Field Registered Nurse ( RN ) Home Health:
Louisiana State RN Licensure required
1 year experience of recent home health care preferred
1 year of full-time, recent med/surg or acute care experience required
Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
