Director of ITTS Job Opening in Bronx, New york - Position Summary :
Management position that administers the day-to-day operation, systems and goals for the IT department. Analyzes the needs of the organization and determines ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new systems. Leads and directs the work of staff, vendors and consultants. Act as liaison between clients, vendors, and the IT department. This is a hands on role, in addition to management and oversight, the candidate will be expected to be involved with multiple projects in a technical capacity.

-Ability to manage deadlines for multiple projects in a time sensitive environment with short deadlines.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
-Bachelor?s Degree in an IT or related field
-10 years similar or related experience working in IT
-5 years of experience managing a technical team
-Experience in working in the healthcare industry
-Hands on experience with SQL databases, Excel and ad-hoc query and report writing
-Excellent communication skills
Specific Duties:
1. Project management of IT tasks from beginning to end. Position requires the ability to define objectives, identify stakeholders, establish goals and communicate timelines
2. Analyze complex business needs and generate requirements based on requests presented by the user community and/or clients. Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
3. Regular communication with business users. Provide written and verbal updates on the status of projects.
4. Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Excel and other related Microsoft Technologies. Working with data warehouse to fulfill ad-hoc report requests from business users.
5. Proactively identify inefficiencies in processes and develop and implement streamlined solutions.
6. Evaluate, control, and manage vendor, outsourced and consulting relationships
7. Ensure HIPAA compliance for all processes and data in the department
8. Assist with the development of IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, back-up, storage, standards, purchasing and service provision.
9. Act as a liaison between users, operations, and IT

Salary: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 /year
