Certified Dietary Manager Job Opening in Honolulu, Hawaii - The Care Center of Honolulu is a 182 bed Skilled Nursing Facility in beautiful Honolulu Hawaii. We are looking for a qualified Dietary Manager to join our team.
This position is responsible for ensuring that all quality and regulatory standards are met by planning and directing the preparation of regular and therapeutic diets, ordering food and supplies, assuring proper sanitation and supervision of all culinary services staff.
As Facility Dietary Director, this person must recruit, hire and orient new team members, provide on-going training and support. Along with monitoring supplies, payroll, facility specific, compliance and team member issues. In leading this department this individual must establish and maintain positive working relationships with other departments and facility administration in order to provide a unified approach to resident care.
* It is preferred, that Candidates be a graduate of an approved Dietary Manager?s Course that meets State and Federal guidelines, candidates with mastery level long term care dietary management experience will be considered * ServSafe certificate preferred * Proven ability to independently manage team members * Two or more years of healthcare related culinary experience * Strong ability to develop and mentor team members * Knowledge of infection control, safety, OSHA, and nursing home regulations as applicable to a culinary services environment.
