Senior Accountant Job Opening in Darien, Connecticut - Our client in Fairfield County is growing and looking to add Accountants to their existing team. The Accountant needs to have a skill set that includes a core understanding of GAAP accounting, advanced excel skills, financial reporting, , as well as be able to gather and report large amounts of data. The company is offering fast track for growth. Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Public and Private accounting experience is preferred. Summary:
This role will be responsible for the ownership of P&L Reporting, account reconciliations, journal entries, updating models, and various ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities:
Updating proprietary models
Populating of key financial data
Account reconciliations
Depreciation and Operating expense reporting
Journal entries to G/L
Experience:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required
Strong knowledge of Excel
Knowledge of accounting fundamentals
