Audit Manager Job Opening in Omaha, Nebraska - Position Description:
The Audit Manager will be responsible conducting internal audits, third party audits, preparing and facilitating of client audits, updating policies and procedures per client work standards, and training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct internal audits of the firm and present the results to the Chief Compliance Officer.
Conduct third party audits and present the results to the Chief Compliance Officer.
Coordinate and facilitate client audits.
Conduct training, coaching, and development to new and existing staff.
Assist with conducting group training as necessary.
Conduct and manage call monitoring.
Assist with developing training manuals, testing and evaluation procedures.
Provide clear and concise communication to various levels of the organization.
Interpret client work standards and work with all departments to ensure compliance.
Update firm policies and procedures per changes in client work standards as well as changes in regulations.
Analyze large amounts of client data.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or legal degree
Prefer CPA
Audit experience
Prefer experience in a regulatory environment or legal environment
Knowledge/Skills:
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
Ability to analyze data
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to present professional appearance and demeanor in a professional office setting
Excellent oral and written skills
Must be able to pass background check (credit/criminal) and a 10 panel drug screen.
Ability to work independently in a diverse fast-paced work environment
