Auto Dealership Office Manager / Controller Job Opening in Omaha, Nebraska - Auto Dealership Controller / Office Manager
Candidate must have prior experience in a similar role. Must have strong accounting and management skills. The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring all Dealership transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner, provide on-going support and expertise to Dealership management, perform general ledger account analyses and reconciliations, close general ledgers on a monthly and fiscal basis in a timely and accurate manner and assist in preparing year end reporting as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversees accounting functions for the entire Dealership.
Recruits, hires, retains and manages Accounting Department staff members.
Oversees the preparation and timely submission of the monthly financial statement.
Acts as the point of contact for all Dealership administrative functions.
Responsible for all monthly, quarterly and annual payroll functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or two years of related experience is highly preferred.
At least two years of similar experience as an Automotive Office Manager or similar role (Assistant Office Manager, Contracts or other Dealership Accounting position experience).
Strong working knowledge of accounting principles (AR/AP/Financial Statements etc.).
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
Auto Dealership Accounting experience is REQUIRED!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
