ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Position Overview: Lone Mountain Truck Leasing is looking for the right people. For our company, the right people are going to be distinctly intelligent, adaptable, self-motivated to succeed and immensely strong communicators. The primary objective of this role is to oversee and manage a team of 3-4 staff accountants while working with them side-by-side. Critical thinking skills and an analytical mind are a must. Key Responsibilities :
Manage the day-to-day operations of a 3-4-person team
Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations
Review monthly expense detail
Analyze worksheets, journal entries, and daily reports with a critical eye
Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis
Research account variances
Performs other tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Masters degree in Accounting preferred
Proven track record of managing and developing a successful team
Critical thinking skills with an attention to detail
Understands and can apply general accounting principles to projects and tasks
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (including pivot tables and v-lookups)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Organization skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities
