Program Director - Social Services Job Opening in Boise, Idaho - The Program Director oversees day to day operations of our Supported Living Program. The Supported Living Program exists to support adults with Disabilities in living fulfilling lives in their communities. The Program Director directly supervises a team of Program Supervisors and Program Coordinators. Responsibilities include: managing program budget, oversight of program billing, oversight of day to day program operations.
Quality of Services and Home Environments -- Routinely spends time in the homes interacting with supported individuals and Direct Support Professionals to gather input and feedback on how services are going. Completes observations to ensure that services are occurring in alignment with the company mission and values as well as the residential service guidelines. Monitors the cleanliness, maintenance, and personalization of homes, then works with Program Supervisors to address any issues. Monitors the quality of treatment, supports, and healthcare follow-up, then works with the Program Coordinator regarding any support related concerns. Collaborates with the Program Supervisors and Program Coordinators to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues or concerns. Ensures the program financial department is effectively supporting individuals with managing their finances, timely payment of bills, and other expenses to maintain their on-going needs and preferences.
Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in social services, or a related field; or two or more year's related experience in the residential living field working with individuals who have disabilities; or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Three or more years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required, with at least one year being spent as a staff with Aspire.
Minimum of one year demonstrated ability to effectively lead/supervise staff in maintaining quality services required.
