Senior C++ Developer Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Overview:
Old Mission Capital, a proprietary trading firm with offices in Chicago and New York, has immediate openings for Senior C++ Developers.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with traders to develop new automated trading algorithms and strategies
Benchmark and optimize existing automated trading systems
Research and develop new ultra low latency architectures
Write new market data and order entry handlers
Develop real-time position and risk management systems
Our Environment:
We run CentOS on our servers
We write our systems in C++11 using GCC
We use Python where it makes sense
We use git for source control
We manage our software development process with GitHub Enterprise and Buildbot
Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or another technical field
Minimum of three years experience in software development
Experience with C++, Linux and BASH scripting
Prefer experience with low-latency computing and hardware-level design
Benefits:
