Insurance Associate Job Opening in Lincoln, Nebraska - Zimmer Insurance Group is a local independent insurance agency that is looking for a full time insurance associate. This person will join our team in providing prompt, accurate and courteous assistance to our customers, sales staff, and various insurance companies requests pertaining to policy changes, submission of new business applications, claims, rating and billing inquiries. Please see the following requirements:
Education:
High School diploma with some college courses with an emphasis in business and accounting related fields preferred. Prior insurance knowledge preferred.
Skills:
Ability to communicate efficiently both on the phone, in person and in writing while presenting a professional image for the agency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with the following office machines: ten key calculator, copier fax and scanning machines, computer keyboarding and a multi-line phone system.
Must be willing to obtain your Property & Casualty Insurance License and continually develop your knowledge of the insurance industry pertaining to its products and services provided. This will lead to continued advancement in our organization.
