EMS Quality Assurance Coordinator Job Opening in Omaha, Nebraska - The ideal candidate for this position would have past, hands one experience in EMS. Quality assurance or auditing charts experience, and some experience in education.
Summary/Objective
The EMS quality assurance coordinator is responsible for auditing the accuracy of patient care reports and ensures appropriate paperwork with including with reports. Prepare and maintain accurate audit working papers and files to support audit findings. Take a lead role in working with management to ensure compliance and regulations are being followed.

Check Physician Certified Statement forms
Audit patient care reports and ensure appropriate paperwork is included with report
The coordinator shall conduct chart reviews and provide feedback to the providers and their supervisors as needed

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This would require the ability to lift files for filing , open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time or part time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
